With the increasing contribution of Renewable Energy into the national grid, CEA and POSOCO have mandated any Solar plant with a capacity of 100 MW or more will have to implement Active and Reactive Power Control through a Power Plant Controller positioned at the Point of Common Coupling with the Grid. Greenwave was one of the first companies in India to have developed a Power Plant Controller System that is fully compliant to the CEA guidelines and also comes with PSS/E models for both Generic as well as User Defined Models (UDM)

Applications

Power Plant Controllers can be implemented in any solar plant as long as the Power Quality Meter and the Inverters support MODBUS TCP communication. The application supports both Centralised and String Inverter based deployments.
